Rajasthan is experiencing a mix of cold and mild summer weather these days. As per the Meteorological Center, Jaipur, indications are that the weather is likely to change in the coming week in the state. More specifically, the Bikaner division and some districts in the Jaipur division are likely to receive light rain at some places. As per the Meteorological Department, a new Western Disturbance is becoming active, and the maximum impact will be seen on the 17th and 18th of February. Before that, the weather in the state is likely to remain clear, with slight changes in temperature. More specifically, the day temperature is likely to increase gradually, leading to a mild heat wave in the afternoon, while the minimum temperature in the morning and the evening will remain around normal, leading to a mild chill.

In the last 24 hours, temperatures have increased in many areas of the state. The highest temperature of 33 degrees Celsius was recorded in Barmer, where temperatures were warmer than normal. Udaipur, Jaisalmer, Chittorgarh, Jodhpur, Dungarpur, Jalore, and Pali also recorded maximum temperatures of 30 degrees Celsius or more.

On the other hand, the effects of winter continue to persist in the Shekhawati region. Churu, Sikar, Jhunjhunu, and Fatehpur experienced severe cold in the mornings and evenings. The lowest minimum temperature of 4.9 degrees Celsius was recorded in Fatehpur, while Sikar recorded 6.5 degrees Celsius.

According to temperatures recorded in major cities across the country, Ajmer recorded a maximum of 29 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 13 degrees Celsius, while Bhilwara recorded a maximum of 29.4 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 13.4 degrees Celsius. Jaipur recorded a maximum of 28.6 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 14.1 degrees Celsius. Sikar recorded a maximum of 26 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 6.5 degrees Celsius. Kota recorded a maximum of 28.8 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 14 degrees Celsius. Chittorgarh recorded a maximum of 30.8 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 13.4 degrees Celsius, while Udaipur recorded a maximum of 30.2 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 13.6 degrees Celsius. Barmer recorded the highest maximum of 33 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 15.2 degrees Celsius. Jaisalmer recorded a maximum of 31 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 13 degrees Celsius, while Jodhpur recorded a maximum of 30.8 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 13.8 degrees Celsius. Bikaner recorded a maximum of 29.3 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 12.3 degrees Celsius, while Churu recorded a maximum of 27.6 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 8.8 degrees Celsius.
