Rajasthan Monsoon Update: Rain alert today in 28 districts of the state including Kota division today
Rajasthan Monsoon Update: With the arrival of monsoon in Rajasthan, a period of heavy rains started. On Thursday, heavy rains occurred in many districts, including Jaipur, Kota, Bundi, Jhalawar, Tonk, Pali, Banswara, Jalore, and Bhilwara.

71% more rainfall than normal has been recorded in Rajasthan from 1 to 19 June. As per the Meteorological Department, 23.3 mm is the usual average rain seen in June for the state, but so far, 40 mm of rain has been registered.
Heavy rain was observed in most districts, including Jaipur, Tonk, Kota, Banswara, Pali, Jalore, and Bundi. The rain spell commenced over Jaipur from the afternoon, when rain was observed over most places, including Sanganer, Madhorajpura, Chaksu, and Fagi. 45 mm rain was recorded over Chaumun, 20-20 mm over Jobner-Mozamabad, 12 mm over Chaksu, 46 mm over Sambhar, 113 mm over Phulera, and 30 mm over Jamwaramgarh.
The weather department has issued a warning of heavy rain in the Kota division today and tomorrow. According to the department, there is a rain alert in 28 districts of the state today, while in the forecast for next week, there is a possibility of more than normal rainfall in Rajasthan.
According to the forecast report of the Meteorological Department, on Thursday the maximum temperature was recorded at 34.8 degrees in Ajmer, 31.5 degrees in Alwar, 34.6 degrees in Jaipur, 36.0 degrees in Sikar, 31.4 degrees in Kota, 29.1 degrees in Chittorgarh, 39.8 degrees in Barmer, 44.6 degrees in Jaisalmer, 38.1 degrees in Jodhpur, 42.2 degrees in Bikaner, 39.2 degrees in Churu and 42.3 degrees in Sri Ganganagar and 24.4 degrees Celsius in Mount Abu.
