The logo of the ICC ODI World Cup to be held in India this year has been released. The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Sunday shared a picture of the ODI World Cup 2023 logo on its Twitter account. On 2 April 2011, MS Dhoni won the ICC ODI World Cup title for Team India after 28 years by hitting the winning six.
Today it has been 12 years since this special victory. On this special occasion, the ICC has revealed the logo of the ODI World Cup 2023. In which the Cricket World Cup is depicted as 'Navaras'. Navaras include joy, strength, sadness, honour, pride, bravery, glory, wonder and passion, emotions which are witnessed during the ODI World Cup.
India is hosting the ODI World Cup 2023 this year. This Mahakumbh of cricket will be organized from October 5 to November 19. The final of this mega tournament to be held every four years will be held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
There are still six months to go for the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023, but the excitement is really starting to build now, said Team India captain Rohit Sharma. Playing a World Cup at home is every player's dream, even more so as a captain and I can't wait for it to begin.
The World Cup is a very special thing for everyone involved and we will all give our 100 percent. We will prepare the best we can in the next few months so that we get a chance to lift the trophy.
The tournament will run for 46 days and 48 matches including three knockouts will be played. This time 10 teams will participate in the World Cup. Its matches will be organized in 12 cities in India. These matches will be played in Delhi, Lucknow, Chennai, Bangalore, Dharamsala, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Indore, Rajkot and Mumbai, although it has not yet been decided which grounds will be played.
