Now powered glasses will also reach home in 10 minutes, service started in these cities
Blinkit has now started the delivery of Lenskart's powered spectacles in 10 minutes. It has started in some big cities and in the coming time it will be extended to more places. There will be different colors and frame options in it. Currently, only a few power options are available. Blinkit has already been giving instant delivery of Apple products, Xiaomi phones, and Airtel SIMs as well.
Blinkit announced on Friday that it will now deliver Lenskart's powered glasses in India immediately. This facility has been initiated in certain major cities of the country at the moment and will be expanded gradually to other locations. In this, numerous frame alternatives shall be provided in various color schemes. At present, only a few power alternatives can be chosen from the pre-set dropdown list. Earlier in the year, this fast commerce platform began rapid delivery of Apple devices, Xiaomi phones, Nokia feature phones, and computer products.
Blinkit founder and CEO Albinder Dhindsa (@albinder) posted on X (formerly Twitter) on Friday that Blinkit is now providing quick delivery of Lenskart-powered spectacles as well. He said that their delivery will also be completed in just 10 minutes like other products available on the platform.
Dhindsa also said that customers will not need a prescription to order. They will only have to open the Blinkit app and select their lens power from the dropdown menu, then select the color of choice and checkout. Currently, the preset power options include -0.25, -0.5, -0.75, -1.0 and -1.5. The company did not say whether more power options will be added in the future.
