If you were fed up with having to first open a chat window or save a contact to place a call on WhatsApp, there's good news for you. WhatsApp messaging platform has presented its millions of users with a great gift. With the updated version of WhatsApp, you don't need to open a chat to call anyone. You can even call anyone without saving a number.

This new call hub will consolidate all calling features into one. Users can now make a call, schedule, use the dialer, and manage contacts without switching between different screens. The company wants to provide the same calling experience across both Android and iOS.

The new Calls tab now features a unified interface. From here, users can directly place a call, schedule a call, or dial a number from the dialer. This change will make calling faster and easier.

Users will now find a "+" shortcut button in the top right corner. This allows for instant call initiation, with up to 31 people allowed at once. The new scheduling feature allows for pre-planning calls and sharing details via chat.

This update also adds a dedicated dialer, eliminating the need to save a contact to call any WhatsApp number. Business accounts will also now feature a verification badge, allowing users to easily identify whether the account is genuine or fake. This feature will help prevent fraud. Overall, WhatsApp's new Call Hub feature will make calling easier, safer, and smarter. This update will be rolled out to all users in the coming time.
