On Sunday, the cold wave was more severe in the Shekhawati belt (Sikar, Churu, Jhunjhunu) besides areas around Nagaur, Jodhpur, Ajmer, Chittorgarh and Udaipur. The chill increased as icy winds blew in morning and evening, while the afternoon sun gave some respite. As the evening progressed, cold increased again.
