Mumbai airport server fixed: air services halted for 40 minutes

On Thursday evening, all systems at Mumbai airport's Terminal-2 were restored after being down for 40 minutes. According to reports, the CITA system was down at the airport. All the work at the airport is done by CITA itself, and from this, the server of the airport runs. Air services were halted due to a system crash. Due to this, the flights of many flights were also affected.

Srikant Kishore, DIG, Central Industrial Security Force, confirmed the system was down. This led to queues of passengers for check-in. The airport staff had to work in manual mode when the airport system went down.

Air India also put out a tweet on the system being down. Air India wrote that we can understand how much trouble the passengers are facing. Work is in progress to fix this. We will contact you soon regarding this.
