Mukesh Ambani Unveils ‘Reliance AI Manifesto’ to Make RIL an AI-Native Company
Reliance: Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani presented a draft of the 'Reliance AI Manifesto', laying out a roadmap for transforming the company into an AI-native deep-tech group.
Reliance Industries (RIL) Chairman Mukesh Ambani has made a significant announcement regarding his company's future. In his announcement, Mukesh Ambani has released a draft of "The Reliance AI Manifesto." This document outlines a vision to make his company an "AI-native deep-tech corporation." Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani called Artificial Intelligence "the most significant innovation in human history." Mukesh Ambani wants to multiply his company's over 600,000 employees' productivity by a factor of 10 and his company's contributions to the Indian economy by a factor of 10.
Just as Reliance was the foray of the digital revolution that Jio brought to India, now it aims to bring in the AI revolution. Its commitment lies in making AI available to every Indian. It claims that the safety of the public will also be looked into.
Ambani clarified that this is not just a technology project, but a new way of working. Repetitive, tedious tasks will be eliminated through AI and "agentic automation." The aim is to eliminate manual work and increase the speed and quality of decisions. A 12-layer common blueprint will be developed that will set standards for data, security, and control across all businesses. Small, cross-functional "pods" will be created to carry out work, each with clear goals and ownership.

Ambani believes that just as they are improving their workflows 10-fold, they can also have a 10-fold impact on India. AI will be used across over 500 million Jio subscribers and India's largest retail network. AI will also be used in discovering new materials, green energy solutions, healthcare, and education. He also emphasized the opportunities for indigenous AI hardware and robotics to make India technologically self-reliant.
Mukesh Ambani's slogan is not just a call to action for employees, but also an "action guide." He invited all employees to share their ideas between January 10th and 26th. He said, "It's not about replacing people, but about raising standards and improving our capabilities. Let's start together."
