Lava Mobiles on Tuesday previewed the arrival of a new smartphone in India on social media. Although the company hasn't announced the name of the model yet, it is expected to be the Lava Agni 4, the launch schedule of which the brand has already announced. A company executive also hinted through a social media update that the Lava Agni 4 is soon going to arrive in India.

Lava Mobiles shared a teaser image on X (formerly Twitter) showing a new Lava smartphone with the caption "Coming Soon." The post includes four fire emojis, which in English means "Agni 4."

In a separate post, Sunil Raina, Managing Director of Lava Mobiles, also added four fire emojis and wrote "Soon," further fueling speculation about the Lava Agni 4's launch. However, this is just speculation so far, and the company has not officially confirmed which model will be launched.

India-based phone manufacturer Lava announced earlier this month that it is releasing the Lava Agni 4. It was rumored to be released in November, but no specific launch date has been mentioned. The phone was teased in a black color option, which showcased a horizontally placed pill-shaped camera module.

Interestingly, the Lava Agni 4 was also recently spotted on the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification website, indicating that its launch could be imminent.

According to reports, the Lava Agni 4 could be priced around ₹25,000 in India. For comparison, its predecessor, the Lava Agni 3, launched at ₹20,999, featuring 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

The Lava Agni 4 is expected to feature a 6.78-inch Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset and UFS 4.0 storage.

For photography, the phone is expected to feature a dual rear camera setup, consisting of two 50-megapixel sensors. Additionally, it is expected to feature a battery of over 7,000mAh. More details about the Lava Agni 4 are expected to emerge as the launch nears.
