There is news of firing in the Sealdah Rajdhani Express train. However, there was no report of any passenger being injured or any casualty during the firing. A 41-year-old man allegedly opened fire in the New Delhi-Sealdah Rajdhani Express train following an altercation with a Traveling Ticket Examiner (TTE) in Sealdah Rajdhani, according to a statement by North Eastern Railway.

There is news of firing in the Sealdah Rajdhani Express train. However, there was no report of any passenger being injured or any casualty during the firing. A 41-year-old man allegedly opened fire in the New Delhi-Sealdah Rajdhani Express train following an altercation with a Traveling Ticket Examiner (TTE) in Sealdah Rajdhani, according to a statement by North Eastern Railway.

According to North Eastern Railway, 'The name of the person who opened fire inside the train after a dispute with the TTE regarding the ticket is Harvinder Singh. His age is said to be around 41 years. He is working in the Indian Army. It is being told that Harvinder had a ticket for 12301 Howrah-New Delhi Rajdhani Express train. But he boarded the B-8 coach of the Sealdah-New Delhi Rajdhani Express train from Dhanbad station in an intoxicated state.

After this, he had a dispute with TTE regarding the ticket. After which he got angry and started firing on the train. It was informed by the Railways that the Railway Protection Force (RPF) escort of the train immediately arrested the person.
