She reached the United States for the third time on Friday, 18 November via Paris on her 20-day visit to promote the culture and crafts of India.
During this visit, Dr. Ruma Devi will talk to American organizations on the issues of Indian art and culture, as well as create awareness among American-Indians especially by being present as a motivator to reconnect the second and third generation of American-Indians with the cultural tradition. Coordinator of Ruma Devi Foundation, Nisha Gaikwad said that in the third phase of her journey, Ruma Devi will present her views on women empowerment by participating in different programs to be organized at different places in Seattle City from 1st December to 5th December.
