India deployed 10 warships in the Arabian Sea, Pakistan is also ready, know why this big step was taken

India has increased maritime surveillance in the Arabian Sea. After the action of the Indian Navy, the Pakistani Navy has also deployed these warships after the recent incidents in the Arabian Sea. Pakistan says it has started naval patrolling in the Arabian Sea to protect its maritime trade routes. Given the incidents of piracy and kidnapping, India has deployed 10 warships here. The Navy has doubled the number of warships here within 10 days. Navy helicopters have also been deployed on the warship. Given the recent attacks by pirates in the Arabian Sea, the Indian Navy had recently deployed guided missile destroyers INS Mormugao, INS Kochi and INS Kolkata here. After this step of India, now Pakistan also deployed their warships in the Arabian Sea.

Recently Houthi rebels had attacked a cargo ship bound for Pakistan with a missile. The company of this ship said that its ship was attacked while en route from King Abdullah Port, Saudi Arabia to Karachi. However, there was no damage to the ship or anyone on board in this attack.

Last week, pirates tried to hijack the Liberian-flagged bulk carrier 'MV Leela Norfolk'. However, when the Indian Navy arrived, the pirates fled in the dark of night. The Navy had safely evacuated all the 21 crew members on board the plane including 15 Indians.

It is noteworthy that amid such incidents, the Indian Navy has increased surveillance in the North, Central Arabian Sea and Gulf of Aden. The Defense Ministry said the decision has been taken given the incidents of piracy and the recent drone attack on a ship close to the Indian EEZ.
