The first match played at the ICC Academy in Dubai on Friday for the U-19 Asia Cup 2025, India beat UAE by 234 runs. 171 runs were made by Vaibhav Suryavanshi. Even with an impressive 234-run victory, India remains at a lower position compared to Pakistan on the points table. Pakistan kicked off their match on Friday and earned two points with their victory against Malaysia. Both teams will meet on December 14th. In the first match of the Under-19 Asia Cup, the UAE won the toss and elected to bowl. The Indian team scored 433 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 50 overs, thanks to Vaibhav Suryavanshi's 171-run innings, which included 14 sixes and 9 fours off 95 balls. This is the highest score by the Indian Under-19 team in the ODI format. In this match, the Indian batsmen hit 20 sixes and 31 fours. This was the third time Team India had crossed the 400-run mark.

Chasing the target of 434 runs, the UAE team could only manage 199 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 50 overs, losing the match by a huge margin of 234 runs. Udish Suri, batting at number eight, scored the highest 78 runs. With this win, Team India secured 2 points. Although Pakistan defeated Malaysia by 297 runs, Pakistan also gained 2 points, but their net run rate was better than India's.

The 2025 Under-19 Asia Cup began on December 12th, with two matches played on the first day. India defeated the UAE in the first match, while Pakistan defeated Malaysia in the second. Team India's net run rate is +4.680, while Pakistan's is +5.940.
