India has surpassed the world in the use of artificial intelligence, achieving the first position in the World AI Advantage Score. Rapid adoption of AI by employees, improved talent health scores, and strong corporate support systems have helped India reach the top of this list.

India Among Fastest Adopters of Generative AI, 62% Employees Use It Daily

India has emerged as one of the quickest adopters of generative AI. Almost 62 percent of the employees in this region make use of AI every day. The employees in India think that AI not only increases the speed of their work, but it also makes decisions more accurate.

In both the employee and the management of India, the belief is that AI enhances the quality of work being done. This is because AI increases the understanding of the data and enables the making of informed decisions. For this reason, the adoption of AI in organizations has been on the increase. In addition, the talent health of the workforce of India is one of the greatest as well. In a survey, the talent health score of India is found to be 82, which is the highest.

This is an indication of how employees are satisfied with their working environment, learning experiences, and treatment received from their organization. The global average score is only 65. Most Indian employees say their managers trust them and give them freedom to make decisions. This boosts employee confidence and makes them feel more capable.

According to Anurag Malik, Partner at EY India, India has seen rapid adoption of AI. Companies are now working to strike the right balance between technology, employee skills, and experience. Proper use of AI improves both employee health and performance.

The report shows that bonuses, flexible work hours, reasonable salaries, and health benefits are crucial for employees in India. Additionally, companies are now focusing on providing AI-related training and skills to employees. About 34 percent of companies are prioritizing AI skill development.
