State associations earn huge money through IPL. He gets a share of the earnings from the BCCI. BCCI gives 64 lakh 80 thousand rupees to the state board for each match. A total of Rs 45 crore 36 lacks will be given to the State Board for 70 matches (excluding playoffs) by the BCCI.
The Gujarat State Association is going to be the richest from this 16th season. Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium will host 8 matches, which will fetch it a maximum of Rs 5.18 crore. Seven stadiums like Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Lucknow will host 7-7 matches. The association of all these will get Rs 4.53-4.53 crore. Guwahati and Dharamshala Stadium will get the least amount. Both of them will get Rs 1.29-1.29 crore.
UP Association has Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. It is hosting IPL matches for the first time. 7 matches will be played in this stadium, due to which this stadium will get 4 crore 53 lakh 60 thousand rupees. The BCCI gave Guwahati of the Assam Association and Dharamshala of the Himachal Association the opportunity to host an IPL match for the first time.
The Barspara Stadium in Guwahati is the second home ground of Rajasthan Royals this season while Dharamshala is the second home ground of Punjab Kings. There will be two matches each on these two. Both these stadiums are going to get Rs 1 crore 29 lakh 60 thousand.
BCCI has given Mohali to Punjab Association and Sawai Mansingh Stadium (Jaipur) to Rajasthan Association for the first time after 2019. 5-5 matches of the season are to be held in both of these stadiums. IPL matches have not been held in Indore since 2018, which came into the limelight from the third Test of India-Australia. IPL matches have not been played in Pune since 2018.
