Girl wearing burqa raised slogans of 'Jai Shri Ram', then received death threats; accused arrested
The police arrested the accused who threatened to kill a girl wearing a burqa and her friend in Bengaluru. Actually, both of them had raised slogans of Jai Shri Ram. The accused told the police that when he saw the video of these two on social media, he got very angry and threatened to kill them.



A strange case has come to light from Karnataka. Actually, the police here have arrested a person who had threatened to kill a girl and her friend. This threat was given because the girl had raised slogans of 'Jai Shri Ram' while wearing a burqa.
The accused has been identified as auto driver Neyaz Khan. The police and fact-checking wing have arrested the accused in Bengaluru's Konanakunte area, police said on Friday.
Police said that there was no case against the accused Neyaz Khan and he was very active on social media. The accused had told the police that he got angry after watching the video and immediately reacted to it. Talaghattapura police are investigating the matter by registering a complaint.
The Bangalore Police has been urged to take action against the accused who threatened the girl and her friend for chanting 'Jai Shri Ram'. After a video showing a burqa-clad girl and a cap-clad man chanting 'Jai Shri Ram' went viral, the accused threatened them on social media if they tried to chant 'Jai Shri Ram' again in this outfit. If they dare they will be cut into pieces.
