Emergency landing of a plane at Nagpur airport; Passenger arrested for talking about bomb at airport

A passenger was arrested at the Kochi International Airport after the man made a joke about a bomb being inside his bag. Airport officials handed the Kozhikode man to the Nedumbassery police after this incident that took place at around 11:30 pm on Wednesday night.

According to the police, after completing the process of boarding the flight from Kochi to Kuala Lumpur, the security officer asked Rashid about the weight of his luggage. To this, he jokingly said that there is a 'bomb' in it. After this, the officials took immediate action and informed the police. Police said a case has been registered against Rashid and he was later released.
