Today the world has been able to understand the Hieroglyphic language of Egypt due to the 'Rosetta Stone' weighing about 760 kilograms. The same message is written on it in three different languages, one of which is also a hieroglyphic language. This language was used by the ancient Egyptian priests and most of their religious texts are written in it.
Due to the discovery of 'Rosetta Stone', the translation of the Hieroglyphic language, which disappeared 1400 years ago, became possible. This stone was first discovered by Napoleon's army in 1799 in the Egyptian city of Al-Rashid. The British used to call it Rosetta Town, by which the stone is known today. Egypt's Archaeological Minister Zahi Hawass will petition the British Museum to return the Rosetta Stone next month.
On the Rosetta stone is written in three different languages a royal edict dating back to 196 BC, referring to the coronation of a new king. Linguists told the world about the language of the pharaoh kings of Egypt on its basis.
