Rajasthan Weather Update: With the onset of Sawan, the weather has also started playing hide and seek in Rajasthan. Rain alert has been issued in 30 districts of Rajasthan today. Clouds camped in the capital Jaipur on Saturday.

Monsoon is not harsh in Rajasthan. The capital city Jaipur, saw a drizzle of Sawan on Saturday. Clouds made such a spectacle in the sky as if there was a stunning image of mountains on the canvas. On the Durgapura-Maharani Farm road, clouds presented such an illusion as if gigantic mountains stood all of a sudden here. Though in real there are not any mountains here, but the collection of clouds themselves formed such a sight in the sky. The sight was so relaxing for the eyes.

The weather in Jaipur had been unstable on Saturday. There had been light clouds throughout the day and drizzling happened at numerous locations. The sun had appeared for a while in the afternoon. The maximum temperature was recorded at 32.4 degrees Celsius. Many districts of the state received heavy rain. Jhalawar, Dholpur, Karauli and Alwar received heavy rain. Jhalawar received more than 4 inches of rain.

During the last 24 hours, the highest rainfall in Rajasthan was recorded at Manohar Thana in Jhalawar at 108 mm. Sampu in Dholpur received 50 mm, Nagar in Bharatpur received 38 mm and Salopat in Banswara received 35 mm of rain. Thanagazi in Alwar received 50 mm, Kesarisinghpur in Ganganagar received 31 mm and Udaipur received 36 mm of rain. Apart from these districts, light to moderate rain occurred in many districts including Sirohi, Chittorgarh, Karauli and Pratapgarh.
