Zoho CEO: Recovery after demographic decline is complex, economic development should be child friendly

Sridhar Vembu, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the giant software company Zoho, has cited the example of Japan and China and said that there is a need to learn from demographic change. He said, 'I don't know any country that has reversed it. This is one of the many reasons why I prefer rural life.' Sridhar said that he actively adopts India's traditional culture and wants to pursue economic development that is in favor of children.

He referred to demographic changes in developed countries and said, Japan had reached the peak of its technological capability around 1990. Japan overtook the US to become the world's number one economy. However, the situation today is challenging due to severe demographic decline. According to Sridhar, China today represents the world in many fields. However, China is also facing a demographic decline.
