boAt Wave Fortune was released in India on Wednesday. It comes with a contactless payment feature of up to Rs 5,000. It is equipped with Bluetooth calling as well as a rectangular 1.96-inch screen. The wearable comes with a watch face studio, which is customizable as well as several predefined workout modes. It comes pre-installed with health and fitness trackers like a heart rate monitor. boAt Wave Fortune comes with a battery life of up to seven days on a complete charge.

The company announced in a press release that the boAt Wave Fortune in India is priced at Rs 3,299. It would be available as a special offer for purchase at Rs 2,599. It is available for purchase now in the Active Black color variant only in the country from the official website.

boAt has confirmed that the company has partnered with Axis Bank to introduce a contactless payment system on the latest Wave Fortune smartwatch. Users can add their Axis Bank credit or debit cards to the boAt Crest Pay app and make payments through boAt Pay, which uses Tappy's tokenization technology. Users can easily make payments of up to Rs 5,000 by tapping the watch on an NFC-enabled card machine, that too without using a PIN.
