Bigg Boss 17, a show renowned for its twists and turns, is all set to witness the exciting entry of two new wildcard contestants, Manasvi Mamgai and Samarth Jurel. The anticipation surrounding these fresh additions is palpable, given their diverse backgrounds and the potential dynamics they may introduce to the Bigg Boss house.
Manasvi Mamgai, a former Miss India winner from 2010, brings an impressive career as a model and actress. Hailing from Delhi but raised in Chandigarh, her journey into the world of modeling commenced when she was just 16. In a candid interview, Manasvi opened up about her early start in the industry, crediting Rhea Pillai for her initial foray. This opportunity not only allowed her to start earning at a young age but also proved to be a significant source of financial support for her mother, enabling her to break free from a troubled marriage.
"My mother has always been spiritual and was into Art of Living through which she knew Rhea Pillai. Rhea had once come to Chandigarh when I had passed out of Class XII. She saw me and said, 'You are tall and good looking. Why don't you try modeling?' So I came to Mumbai, and she made me meet Atul Kasbekar and Reshma Shetty and a couple of other people. Fortunately, they said nice things, and I decided to try modeling and moved to Delhi," Manasvi explained.
Adding to her intriguing background, Manasvi hails from a prominent family. Her father, Shalabh Kumar, is an industrialist based in the United States and played a crucial role as a member of the transition team for former U.S. President Donald Trump. Manasvi's remarkable journey also took her to the stage at Donald Trump's inauguration as the 45th President of the United States, earning her the moniker of the 'Indian Ivanka' in some circles. When asked about this comparison, she gracefully accepted it, saying, "I take that as a compliment. Ivanka is also from the glamour industry, and look at where she is now."
