Big blow to England before the second test against India, star spinner out of the team, Ben Stokes confirmed

The England team suffered a big setback before the second Test being played against India in Visakhapatnam. Captain Ben Stokes confirmed that star spinner Jack Leach will not be able to play the second Test due to injury. Let us tell you that Jack Leach suffered a knee injury while fielding during the Hyderabad Test and looked uncomfortable in the entire match. He bowled very little in both the innings and got the important wicket of Shreyas Iyer. Stokes has also hinted at including Pakistani-origin young spinner Shoaib Bashir in the final playing eleven in his place, who could not play the Hyderabad Test due to visa issues.

Ben Stokes said that Jack Leach has been ruled out of the second Test due to injury. Stokes said that unfortunately, he has a hematoma in his leg. Whereas before this he was out of the team for a long time due to a back injury. After that, he returned and played his first match. It is disappointing that he does not play in the next test. He said that the medical team was taking care of him. Hopefully, it's nothing serious.

Young off-spinner Shoaib Bashir can be used in place of Leach in the second test against India. He reached India late due to a visa delay and is now ready to debut for England. The English team can enter the second test with only three spinners and one fast bowler. In such a situation, Joe Root will once again be in the role of the fourth spinner. If he goes with two pacers considering the Visakhapatnam pitch, Rehan Ahmed may be out.

Ben Stokes said about Bashir that the height at which he bowled made it clear that he must have put in a lot of effort behind it. I saw it and thought it could be great in India. There wasn't much consideration when it came to his selection for the team, as everyone was impressed with what he showed.
