BCCI said in its official statement, "Lucknow Supergiants captain KL Rahul has been fined Rs 12 lakh for keeping a slow over-rate in the 34th match against Chennai Super Kings at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow. ''
The statement further said, "Similarly, Chennai Super Kings captain Ruturaj Gaikwad has been fined for maintaining a slow over-rate against Lucknow Supergiants." This was the first offence for both the teams, so the captains were fined Rs 12 lakh. A fine of Rs.
Speaking about the game, at home, Lucknow Supergiants defeated Chennai Super Kings by eight wickets with one over left. During the Ekana Stadium match, CSK took the field first and amassed 176 runs in 20 overs while losing 6 wickets.
