The Indian cricket team has left to participate in the Asian Games 2023 going on in Hangzhou, China. The Indian team left for Hangzhou from Mumbai. The top five teams along with the Indian team got the top seeding due to the ICC T20 International ranking and got direct entry into the quarter-finals. The Indian team will start its campaign in the Asian Games 2023 on October 3.

The Indian men's cricket team on Thursday left for China from Mumbai to participate in the Asian Games 2023. The Indian team will start its campaign on 3 October.

SAI has shared photos of the Indian team leaving from Mumbai for China on his account (earlier on Twitter). SAI wrote, 'Men's cricket team is ready for Asian Games 2022. The Indian team left for Hangzhou from Mumbai Airport. We wish him all the best for his best performance.

India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan are the top-ranked teams in the ICC T20 International rankings. Therefore they have been given top priority. These teams will get a direct place in the quarter-finals. The Indian team is considered a strong contender to win the gold medal.

Ruturaj Gaikwad has been made the captain of the Indian team for the Asian Games. Yashasvi Jaiswal has also got a place in the team. Shivam Dubey has returned to Team India. Rinku Singh, who performed brilliantly in IPL, will also be seen spreading his charm. The Indian team looks very strong.
