Mercedes-Benz has announced a 2% price increase on all its cars in India. These new prices will be effective from April 2026. The company announced a price increase, which started in January 2026, and car prices are increasing again after three months.
According to the company, the Indian rupee is becoming weaker compared to other currencies, making business more expensive. The cost of the materials used to make cars is increasing. The cost of transporting goods from one place to another is also increasing.
There is a 2% increase in the price of all cars starting April 1. Brendan Sissing, the company's Vice President of Sales and Marketing, says, "The Indian currency is becoming weaker compared to the Euro, which makes the cost of making cars more expensive."

He further stated that the company strives not to pass the burden onto customers, but a slight price increase was necessary to maintain business performance.
Mercedes-Benz is set to launch its electric sedan, the CLA, in India on March 17, 2026. This will be the first time the CLA sedan will be offered in an electric avatar. The Mercedes-Benz CLA Electric is equipped with a number of features. In India, the company will offer the 250+ variant, which does not have a triple-screen display.
However, it features a 14-inch touchscreen display, OTA updates, wireless charging, a USB Type-C port with a 100W output, and a sporty steering wheel with controls. It also features an 85 kWh battery with a claimed WLTP range of 792 km on a single charge.
