Young man fell into 70 feet deep well in Jaipur, death

A youth died after falling into a 70 feet deep well in Jaipur. While having a liquor party with friends, the youth fell into the well with an iron net. Hearing the sound of the explosion, the friends left him and fled to their homes. His bike was found near the well when the missing was registered at Kanota police station. Police carried out a search operation with the help of the Civil Defense team and pulled out the body from the well on Thursday afternoon. The police handed over the dead body to the relatives after getting the post-mortem done at SMS Hospital.
SHO Mukesh Kumar Kharadiya said that Rishiraj Meena (22) resident of Mandawar Dausa died in the accident. He used to work as a pilber while living in Vijayapura Kanota. On Tuesday night, he went to a liquor party with three friends at the well located at Old Chungi on Vijayapura Road. The four friends were having a liquor party sitting on the wall of the well. Intoxicated with alcohol, Rishiraj started lifting the net on the well. Meanwhile, he fell into the well with the net.
The iron net got stuck in the middle of the well. With the explosion, Rishiraj fell into the water of 70 feet deep well. Friends got scared after hearing the sound of an explosion. Tried to save once by going near the well. After which, when Rishiraj fell into the well, out of fear, they left him and fled to their respective homes.
When Rishiraj did not return home, the relatives searched for him a lot, but could not find him. On Wednesday afternoon, his wife lodged a missing complaint of husband Rishiraj at Kanota police station. The police started searching for the missing Rishiraj. His bike was found parked near the well located at Vijayapura Road Old Chungi.
Seeing trapped inside the trap of the well, the police suspected Rishiraj's fall. The police called the Civil Defense team and searched the well. Rishiraj was not found in the well during the search on Wednesday. On inquiring with friends, it was confirmed that Rishiraj had fallen into the well. From Thursday morning again the civil defence team descended to search the well. Rishiraj's body was taken out from the well at around 1 pm. Police sent the dead body to the mortuary of SMS Hospital for postmortem.
