The second richest individual in the nation and chairman of the Adani Group, Gautam Adani, has earned the combined salary amount of Rs 10.41 crore in the previous financial year 2024-25. This is lower than his industry comparables as well as officials.

This is 12 percent more than Rs 9.26 crore in 2023-24. According to the annual reports of the group, Gautam Adani has received salary from only two of the nine listed companies of the group. In the last financial year, Adani received a salary of Rs 2.26 crore and Rs 28 lakh as other allowances from Adani Enterprises Limited.

Similarly, a total of Rs 7.87 crore was received from Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone. This includes a salary of Rs 1.8 crore and commission of Rs 6.07 crore. Adani's salary is less than that of the heads of most of the big family groups in the country.
