King Kohli while speaking on the RCB Podcast Season 2 revealed that he was informed 90 minutes prior to the selection committee meeting that he was being removed as captain in ODIs, which making a huge uproar and a difference of opinions between the then BCCI president Sourav Ganguly and chief selector Chetan Sharma.
The former captain said Look, you play to win tournaments. He captained in Champions Trophy 2017, 2019 World Cup, and in World Test Championship, and T20 World Cup in 2021. After three ICC tournaments,he was considered as a failed captain.
