Tecno Pop X Debuts in India at ₹8,499 With 120Hz Screen and 5,000mAh Battery
Tecno has launched its new entry-level smartphone, the Tecno Pop X, in India. Its starting price is ₹8,499, which is reduced to ₹7,749 with an HDFC Bank offer. The phone features a 6.75-inch HD+ 120Hz display, a 5,000mAh battery, a 13MP dual rear camera, and a Unisoc T7250 chipset.
Tecno has announced a new smartphone in India named Tecno Pop X. It’s an entry-level smartphone from Transsion’s Tecno brand. The smartphone should be available in India by the end of this week.
The smartphone has an LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and is priced under ₹10,000. It has IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. The starting price of Tecno Pop X in India is set at ₹8,499 for the 4GB + 64GB variant. The smartphone comes in Chili Green and Flare White colors, and you can purchase it from Amazon.

The phone will be available for purchase starting tomorrow, March 6, on e-commerce platforms and other retail channels in the country. As a launch offer, the company is offering a discounted price of just ₹7,749 with eligible HDFC Bank cards.
In terms of specifications, the Tecno Pop X features a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD screen with support for a 120Hz refresh rate and a pixel density of 260ppi. The device runs on Android 15 with the company's HiOS 15 user interface. Powering the phone is a 12nm octa-core Unisoc T7250 chipset, paired with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB of eMMC storage.
This Tecno phone features dual rear camera sensors, including a 13-megapixel camera with an f/1.85 aperture. There's an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies. The device features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a 5,000mAh battery. The phone also supports 15W charging and 4G LTE.
