Passkeys: This security feature is also coming in WhatsApp, know its benefits
WABetaInfo has said in one of its reports that WhatsApp is working on a new security feature passkey. A screenshot of iOS beta version 24.2.10.73 has also been revealed in the report.
Many businesses around the world use passkeys, and they also give them to their customers. Users are also encouraged to do this by Google and Meta. There has been news recently in this series that WhatsApp will soon support passkeys. Even though Meta only released Passkeys for Android users last year, it is now available for iPhone users as well.
Only the app will receive the new update. According to one of WABetaInfo's reports, WhatsApp is developing a new security feature called passkey. The report also includes a screenshot of iOS beta version 24.2.10.73.
The login procedure is more secure thanks to the passkey security feature. Typically, to access the account on an unfamiliar device, a 6-digit code must be entered. Face ID, Touch ID, and the device passcode will be needed after this code.
