New update released for Google Play Store, company is testing app redesign

Google is updating its Google Play Store. Google has added Material You to transform apps to fit the current version of Android. According to the new report, Google is now testing another redesign of the app. This change is set to bring in a new tab at the bottom and in the process, remove the search bar. The change was first noticed in early December, the report said.

A Pixel Fold user complained that their Play Store looks slightly different and the search bar is missing. The user also shared a post on the social media platform along with screenshots, in which the Play Store app was shown without a search bar and with a completely new app design.

Google's Reading Mode feature gives the user a better reading experience. By enabling this mode, the user can see only the main content of any article or news on the screen. The main content can be read with a black, blue, and yellow background.

Website ads are not visible in online content. In reading mode, the user can adjust the size, color, and background of the content. In reading mode, no images are visible along with the content.
