The company has also confirmed that the series will feature a BOE display and has announced several other features. Additionally, a tipster has shared an alleged render of the Pro model, giving a glimpse of its front design.
In a post on Weibo, the Chinese smartphone maker confirmed that it will source displays from BOE for its upcoming Realme GT 8 series. Furthermore, the company's high-end smartphones will feature 2K resolution screens and a 144Hz refresh rate, likely targeting mobile gamers.
Additionally, a Realme smartphone with the model number RMX5200 has been spotted on China's 3C website. According to tipster Digital Chat Station (translated from Chinese), this listing belongs to the upcoming Realme GT 8 Pro. The 3C listing suggests that the device may support 120W wired fast charging.
If true, this phone will support the same fast charging speeds as its predecessor, the Realme GT 7 Pro. The tipster also mentioned that the phone could feature a 7,000mAh battery.
