Google Photos will now support Gemini as well; testing is ongoing
Google Photos: Finding specific images - Users can write any question in normal language, such as "Show me my photos from last summer" or "Show me my recent selfies." After this, Gemini will scan your Google Photos and present the correct photo.
Google began to integrate Google Photos into its Gemini app for Android users. The public release was confirmed by the company last month. With this new feature, Android app users are able to query Gemini with questions about their photos, such as searching for one specific photo or accessing information contained in the photo. The app feature began with the Google I/O 2024 event under the moniker of 'Ask Photos'. Google added an instance of this feature to the Photos app.
Now, Google Photos' integration with Gemini is being rolled out to Android users as well, though when we verified with Amar Ujala's team, this feature had not rolled out to their devices, as Google tends to roll out in phases, so it might take some weeks to reach all devices.
