The wedding of star batsman Smriti Mandhana from Team India with music composer Palash Muchhal, which was scheduled to take place on November 23rd, was postponed and later called off. On Wednesday, Smriti made her first public appearance. During the ceremony, she revealed her most cherished love and what makes all her troubles go away.

Mandhana attended the event in the company of Team India captain Harmanpreet Kaur. The two spoke with Bollywood actress and sports presenter Mandira Bedi. During the ceremony, Mandhana revealed that she loves nothing more than playing cricket. She also said that wearing the Team India jersey takes away all her worries as it gives her a different sense of responsibility.

Mandhana said during the program, "I don't love anything more than cricket. Wearing the Indian jersey inspires and takes away all worries. I've always told everyone that once you wear the jersey, you put aside all worries because you have a responsibility. You represent millions of people. This thought in itself is enough to make you focus and perform well."
