Captaincy debate heats up at Mumbai Indians as Srikkanth suggests Surya over Hardik Pandya

People are hoping to see Mumbai lift the trophy again, as they last lifted it in 2020. But before the 19th season, former India selector Srikkanth made a huge statement in the midst of the debate regarding the captaincy of the team.
The biggest change in Mumbai Indians was in 2024 when Hardik Pandya returned from Gujarat Titans and took over as captain from Rohit Sharma. This was a tough call because fans were not happy with this decision, and they finished last in the 2024 season.
