Skoda Kushaq Facelift Spotted Testing; Panoramic Sunroof Confirmed for 2026 Launch

Skoda is preparing to launch a facelift of its popular SUV, the Kushaq. A testing model has been spotted. The company plans to launch it in 2026. The new images reveal the most significant update: a panoramic sunroof. Until now, the Kushaq has had only a single-pane sunroof, but the facelift will add a dual-pane sunroof, making it feel more premium.

Currently, the Skoda Kushaq's Signature, Sportline, Monte Carlo, and Prestige trims offer a single-pane electric sunroof. The Classic and Onyx variants don't have sunroofs. The facelifted version is expected to feature a panoramic sunroof in the mid- and top-spec variants. Voice control is also likely, and the anti-pinch function is expected to remain. Demand for panoramic sunroofs is growing rapidly in the SUV segment, not only in India but also internationally. Therefore, adding this feature is considered a necessary step for Skoda.

The new version is also expected to feature Level 2 ADAS. This feature is becoming increasingly common in the compact SUV segment, and several models already offer it. The Kushaq has already scored 5-stars in the GNCAP test. It recently comes with six airbags, ESC, ABS with EBD, multi-collision braking, hill-hold, traction control, and rollover protection. The facelifted version is also expected to feature a 360-degree camera, making driving and parking easier.
