Severe cold wave in Rajasthan today: Dense fog affected traffic; Temperature will fall further from tomorrow
Rajasthan Weather: There was severe cold at some places in eastern Rajasthan and the effect of severe cold has been seen in western Rajasthan as well. The severe cold wave has been blowing in western Rajasthan since morning today. Dense fog was also recorded at some places in the state.
The effect of severe cold and melting was seen in the weather in Rajasthan on Tuesday. Cold days have been recorded in some places in eastern Rajasthan and cold days to very cold days have been recorded in some places in western Rajasthan. The severe cold wave is blowing in western Rajasthan. Melting is being felt in the weather due to fog since morning in the capital Jaipur.
The minimum low temperature in the state so far has been recorded as 4.6 degrees Celsius in Ganganagar. The minimum temperature remained at 2.2 in Mount Abu. In Fatehpur, the temperature further dropped today. The minimum temperature has been measured as 4.8 degrees here. At one time, the minimum temperature in Fatehpur had gone below zero in Fatehpur, that was till a week ago; but after that, this temperature reached around 10 degrees.
According to the Meteorological Department, the intensity of this cold has steadily increased since this morning as per its prediction. Presently, it is stated there will be no major change in minimum temperature but further from tomorrow, the cold may increase more and the mercury can go down up to three degrees Celsius.
