Realme 16 Pro Series Brings 200MP Camera, 7,000mAh Battery to India
The Realme 16 Pro series was launched in India a few days ago. Sales of this series have now begun in India. This series includes the Realme 16 Pro 5G and Realme 16 Pro+ 5G. Realme 16 Pro series, launched in India on January 6, is going for sales in the country. In the new series by the Chinese smartphone vendor comes the Realme 16 Pro 5G and Realme 16 Pro+ 5G. Realme smartphones will support three different colors, out which two will be exclusive in India only. Realme 16 Pro 5G will come with MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max, while the Realme 16 Pro+ will come with the assistance of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor. In both, users will get a 200-megapixel primary camera along with the capability of the huge 7,000mAh Titan Battery.
In India, the Realme 16 Pro 5G is priced at ₹31,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration. The 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage options are priced at ₹33,999 and ₹36,999, respectively. However, the company is offering a ₹3,000 bank discount or ₹5,000 exchange bonus for customers purchasing the phone from Flipkart, and existing Realme customers are also getting an additional ₹1,000 benefit.
Meanwhile, the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G price in India starts at ₹39,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. Higher-end options, including the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variants, are available for ₹41,999 and ₹44,999, respectively. Flipkart is offering customers an instant bank discount of ₹4,000. Existing Realme customers can also avail an additional ₹1,000 off on their purchases.

The new Realme 16 Pro series is available for sale on Flipkart, the Realme India online store, and select offline retail stores. The Realme 16 Pro 5G comes in Master Gold, Pebble Gray, and the India-exclusive Orchid Purple color options. The Realme 16 Pro+ 5G is available in Master Gold, Master Gray, and the India-exclusive Camellia Pink color options.
In terms of specifications, the Realme 16 Pro series is a dual-SIM lineup that runs on Android 16-based Realme UI 7.0. The Realme 16 Pro+ features a 6.8-inch 1,280x2,800-pixel AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, a touch sampling rate of up to 240Hz, a peak brightness of up to 6,500 nits, a 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, and 1.07 billion colors.
On the other hand, the standard model features a 6.78-inch 1,272x2,772-pixel display with a peak brightness of up to 1,400 nits and a pixel density of 450ppi, while it has the same maximum screen refresh rate and color gamut as the Pro+ model.
The Realme 16 Pro+ 5G is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor. The phone also features an Adreno 722 GPU. The Realme 16 Pro 5G is powered by an octa-core 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max 5G processor with an Arm Mali G615 GPU. Both handsets come with IP66 + IP68 + IP69 + IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance.
For photography, the Realme 16 Pro series features a 200-megapixel (f/1.8) primary rear camera and an 8-megapixel (f/2.2) ultrawide camera. The Realme 16 Pro+ 5G also features a 50-megapixel (f/2.8) telephoto camera, which is missing from the standard model. Both handsets have a 50-megapixel (f/2.4) front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
The Realme 16 Pro series packs a 7,000mAh Titan battery. The Realme 16 Pro+ 5G and Realme 16 Pro 5G also feature 80W wired fast charging support. For connectivity, the handsets support 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and a USB Type-C port. The Realme 16 Pro+ 5G measures approximately 8.49mm thick and weighs approximately 203g, while the standard model is 7.8mm thick and weighs approximately 192g.
