Nanne Kalakaar Festival 2025 Inaugurated with a Grand Opening

Festival Director Riddhi Chandrawat, also Director of Abhyutthanam Welfare Society, highlighted the deeper purpose. “Nanhe Kalakaar is not just a festival; it is a sensitive initiative aimed at fundraising for specially-abled children,” she explained. “Through art and music, we are bringing society together while working towards a better future for these children.”

Day One featured electrifying performances, starting with a jamming session by Kurjal Band, led by Mandeep and Harsh, that filled the venue with soulful rhythms. The excitement peaked with Jaipur's first-ever Baby Rave, in collaboration with the Global Health Happiness Festival by Kogta Foundation and curated by Act to Action – a multigenerational dance session that delighted children, parents, and grandparents alike.

As dusk fell, Kabir Cafe delivered a mesmerizing set, blending Kabir's profound poetry with modern tunes in songs like “Mat Kar Maya Ka Ahankar,” “Kya Leke Aaya Hai,” and “Do Din Ka Hai Mela.”

The evening also included a innovative Textile Walk, partnered by Rajasthan Fashion Fest with Killer Jeans as styling partner and Style A Craze as salon partner. This display reimagined Rajasthan's textile heritage through AI and contemporary technology, bridging tradition and innovation.

The night culminated in a powerhouse performance by the legendary Indian Ocean Band, with Rahul Ram leading hits like “Tu Kisi Rail Si Guzarti Hai,” “Man Kasturi,” and “Bande.” Their fusion of rock and folk kept thousands dancing late into the night, marking a historic highlight.

Throughout the day, attendees explored over 20 art workshops, creative activities, and more than 80 stalls offering food, art, and merchandise, creating an immersive experience for all ages.

With Day One etching itself into Jaipur's cultural legacy, anticipation builds for December 25, featuring Rajasthani folk by Digpal, Raahgir's soulful set, poetry by Runmal Jain, a Folk Rave with Digvijay Singh Jasana, and a finale concert by Sona Mohapatra.

Founded in 2014, Abhyutthanam Welfare Foundation has a proven track record in social welfare, including educating over 300,000 children annually through 'School Bharo Andolan,' feeding 80,000 during COVID-19, and planting urban forests via Miyawaki methods. This festival continues their mission, blending celebration with meaningful philanthropy.
