Jaipur – The vibrant Pink City pulsed with creativity and inclusivity as the Nanne Kalakaar Festival 2025 kicked off with a spectacular inauguration at Hotel Clarks Amer on December 24. Organized by the Abhyutthanam Welfare Foundation, this two-day event dedicated to fundraising for specially-abled children brought together art, music, folk traditions, and family-friendly entertainment under the theme “Hum Sabka Festival” – emphasizing unity for all.
The festivities began with a colorful Pachranga Parade, a lively showcase of Rajasthan's folk culture that symbolized diversity and togetherness, perfectly setting the tone for an inclusive celebration.
Chief guest Neeraj K. Pawan, Secretary of the Department of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of Rajasthan, inaugurated the event and praised its societal impact. “The objective of Nanne Kalakaar Festival is to connect art with society,” he said. “The enthusiasm and participation on the very first day strengthen our belief that art is the most beautiful medium that unites people of all ages.”
Festival Director Riddhi Chandrawat, also Director of Abhyutthanam Welfare Society, highlighted the deeper purpose. “Nanhe Kalakaar is not just a festival; it is a sensitive initiative aimed at fundraising for specially-abled children,” she explained. “Through art and music, we are bringing society together while working towards a better future for these children.”
