The Asia Cup 2025 has finally begun, and the match will be played between India and Pakistan on 14 September. It is impossible that there is a match between India and Pakistan, and there is no politics in it. Opposition leaders have raised questions about the Modi government regarding the India-Pakistan match. Congress spokesperson Shama Mohammad raised objections to the match. He said that PM Modi had said that blood and water cannot flow together. If this is so, then how can we play cricket with Pakistan? This is wrong.

Congress leader Shama Mohammad also mentioned PM Narendra Modi's statement, in which PM Modi had said that Operation Sindoor is going on. When the operation is going on, how can we play a match with Pakistan? PM Modi has also said that water and blood cannot flow together. Now, how are blood and cricket going together?

AIMIM leader Waris Pathan also said about the match that when we have broken all ties with Pakistan and blocked them on all social media platforms, then why should we play a match against them in the tournament? He said that he will boycott the match and will not watch it on September 14.

He further said that the BCCI is organizing this match only for money. 90 percent of the people of India have been hurt; people's feelings are being played with. I will boycott this match and will not watch it.

SP MP Ruchi Veera has also protested against the India-Pakistan match. He said that when the minds do not match between the two countries, then it is not appropriate to organize any match. He further said - Our feelings are getting hurt. There are other countries with whom matches can be played. It is not necessary to play matches only with Pakistan. Recently, a terrorist incident has taken place in Pahalgam, Kashmir. Prime Minister Narendra Modi should understand the feelings of the people.

While on one hand, the opposition parties are opposing the India-Pakistan match, on the other hand, it is being supported by the NDA constituents. Senior NCP leader and former MP Anand Paranjape said that after the death of 26 people in the Pahalgam terrorist attack, the general public's sentiment is that no one-to-one series should be played by inviting the Pakistan cricket team to India.

He also clarified that if Pakistan participates in any international tournament and India has to play the match, then there is nothing wrong with it. He expressed confidence that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the central government will respect public sentiments and will not play a bilateral series with Pakistan.
