OnePlus 15R Teaser Out: Dual Cameras, Metal Frame, and Android 16 Confirmed
OnePlus has released the first glimpse of its new smartphone, the OnePlus 15R. The teaser image shows the phone with dual rear cameras and a black-and-green color scheme. It is expected to feature a 6.83-inch AMOLED display and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. The battery could be 7800mAh or 8000mAh, with support for 120W fast charging. This phone is expected to launch in December.
Last week, OnePlus launched its latest flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 15, at a global online event. At the end of that event, the company also teased the OnePlus 15R smartphone. The company has shared the first teaser image of this upcoming device in this series. The new teaser carries the tagline "Power on Limits Off." It showcases the phone in black and green with a metal frame. A "Plus" button is seen on the left side of the phone.
If you look closely at the photo, you can identify dual rear cameras, different from the triple camera setup of the OnePlus 13R. Further, there's an LED flash placed right next to the camera. OnePlus has confirmed that this phone will run on Android 16-based OxygenOS 16 out of the box.
Recent reports suggest that the upcoming OnePlus 15R will feature a 6.83-inch 1.5K 165Hz AMOLED display. It could be powered by either the Snapdragon 8 Elite or the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset.
The device is also expected to feature an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, a 50MP primary camera, and a secondary camera. The device will also support either 100W or 120W SuperVOOC fast charging. It is also expected to feature a large 7800mAh or 8000mAh battery.

Reports also suggest that the company may launch this phone in December. The OnePlus 15R is expected to be available for sale on Amazon.in, OnePlus India's online store and offline stores. The company may also announce the phone's launch date and some of its key features in the coming weeks.
