Australia also requires Josh Inglis in red-ball cricket. This wicketkeeper will serve as Alex Carey's cover in the home Ashes series.
Josh Inglis has scored 878 runs for Australia in 36 T20Is, averaging 30.27, while in 33 ODIs, he has scored 766 runs at an average of 29.46. He also has 119 runs in three Tests. During this period, Inglis has taken 30 catches in ODIs and made four stumpings. In T20Is, he has 19 catches and stumped two batsmen.
The Australian and New Zealand teams will play a three-match T20I series between October 1-4. All matches will be held in Mount Maunganui. Australia will then play three ODIs against India starting October 19, followed by a five-match T20I series.
