Rajasthan News: On the occasion of the traditional festival Teej, a new system of helicopter ride booking has also been started for tourism in the Pink City. The ride fee starts from Rs 6999, in which religious and tourist places will be visited here.

Now you will also get a helicopter ride in the sky to visit the Pink City, Jaipur. A helicopter tour has started in Jaipur during the Teej celebration. On the first day, Saturday, people from across the state came to enjoy this experience. Actually, Avon Helicopters Private Limited launched the helicopter ride in Pink City to mark the Teej Festival. The ride will continue today, Sunday, as well. It includes a tour of Jaipur’s major religious and tourist sites. The price for this ride starts at Rs 6999.

MD of Avon Helicopters Private Limited, Sohan Singh Nathawat, said - "For the first time, a helicopter ride has been introduced during the monsoon. From day one, people of all ages from across the state participated. Among them, Sajna Devi was the oldest. Sajna Devi came to Jaipur just to fulfill her dream of riding in a helicopter. The joy ride will also be available tomorrow. Booking can be done online or offline."

Sohan Singh added that they are using a Bell 407 helicopter for the joy rides, which is considered the safest in the single-engine category. To ensure passenger safety, an insurance coverage of one crore rupees per person has been arranged. Currently, helicopter joy rides are being conducted in Jaipur on a trial basis for two days. If approved by the government, they plan to operate these rides regularly in Jaipur. They are actively discussing this with authorities.

Nathawat mentioned that efforts are underway to connect religious sites with helicopter services. Soon, major religious tourist destinations like Khatu Shyam Ji and Salasar Ji will be connected across the state. A special ride plan is being formulated, and it will soon be implemented.
