Now iPhone will reach home through drone, Amazon delivery will be completed in less than 60 minutes
Amazon: Amazon has upgraded its Prime Air drone delivery service. This service delivers packages in less than 60 minutes. Now iPhone Galaxy smartphones and other devices will also be delivered by drone. These deliveries will be done through MK30 drones which drop packages from a height of 13 feet. This service is available in select areas. Let's know the rest of the details about it.

Amazon Prime Air drone delivery service began a few years ago by delivering packages in 60 minutes or less. Yesterday, the tech firm announced it will be delivering a new set of devices through drones in a few regions. Amazon got regulatory clearance to transport devices such as iPhone models, other Apple devices, and Galaxy smartphones through the Amazon MK30 drones that release the package from a height of approximately 13 feet.
In a blog post on Tuesday, Amazon confirmed that the company's Prime Air drone delivery service has received approval from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to expand operations. More than 60,000 items are now available for drone delivery to customers, and the selection is growing. With the latest approval, Amazon can now deliver new product categories such as Apple iPhone models, Samsung Galaxy smartphones, AirTags, AirPods, Ring doorbells, and Alpha Grillers Instant Read Food Thermometers.
These deliveries are confirmed to arrive in an hour or less. Shoppers can select the drone delivery option during checkout on the Amazon website or shopping app if they are in an eligible area and the items in their cart weigh 5 pounds or less (about 2kg). Shoppers can confirm by choosing a preferred delivery spot, such as a driveway or yard.
Amazon says the drone can calculate how long it will take to reach an address and drop off a package. After an order is placed, Amazon provides an estimated delivery window. If a delivery can't be made, Amazon will notify users of the reason.
Prime Air has created "delivery zones," clear areas without obstructions such as trees or buildings. Deliveries will be made using Amazon's new MK30 drones. Previously, Prime Air required a QR code in the delivery area. Now, physical QR codes are no longer needed; the system uses the drone's onboard computer to make a drop at the designated delivery point. The drone drops the package from about 13 feet high.
Prime Air doesn't accept deliveries in all weather conditions. The service uses a 75-minute forward-looking weather forecast to determine if drone deliveries should be available in the next hour. Currently, Amazon offers drone deliveries in select areas of Texas and Arizona.
