NIA raids at 72 places in 8 states of the country: Action in gangster-terror funding case

The National Investigation Agency raided 70 places in 8 states on Tuesday morning. This action has taken place at the hideout of the gangster and his close ones. According to media reports, raids are being conducted regarding the gangster and his syndicate spread across all the states. NIA has recovered weapons from many gangsters.
According to news agency ANI, the NIA team is conducting raids at more than 70 places in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Delhi, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh.
According to sources, these raids are taking place after the interrogation of gangsters Lawrence and Neeraj Bawana. In the interrogation of the gangster, the matter of the arms supplier gang and terror funding came to the fore. On the basis of this action is being taken today. Actually, Lawrence Bishnoi involved in the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Musewala has been in jail for a long time. A few days ago the NIA team had interrogated him. After this, Delhi-NCR's notorious criminal Neeraj Bawana was also interrogated.
In fact, in the last 6 months, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has taken action many times on the hideouts of all the gangsters active in North India including Lawrence, Neeraj Bawana, and Bambiha Group. This action started in September 2022 and is still going on. Never before has such a big action been taken against the gangster. Apart from the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Musewala, NIA teams are engaged in breaking the gangster's nexus on the basis of intelligence inputs.
