India's military capability only gets stronger by the day. The country's indigenous light tank has achieved history in firing multiple rounds at different ranges at an altitude of over 4,200 meters accurately.

The combat-improved variant of the army deployed on the Line of Actual Control with China testifies to the power of India moving on the path of self-reliance in the defense sector. Weighing only 25 tonnes, which is half of heavy tanks like the T-90, the test of this tank had earlier been done in a desert environment in September.

The tank has been developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and private company Larsen & Toubro (L&T). The Defence Ministry said on Thursday, that the Indian light tank has achieved a major feat by firing multiple rounds at various ranges with consistently accurate results at an altitude of over 4200 meters.
