Mohammad Ashraful Reveals Mustafizur Rahman’s Mental State After IPL Exit

How is Mustafizur Rahman now that he has been released by Kolkata Knight Riders in Indian Premier League? What is he going through? Bangladesh former cricket captain as well as Bangladesh batting coach Mohammad Ashraful has revealed some crucial details regarding this issue. It is clear that Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur was released by KKR as BCCI or the Board of Control for Cricket in India told them to do so. This was when tensions are increasing between the two nations.

Mustafizur is currently playing for Rangpur Riders in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). Ashraful, his assistant coach, revealed that Mustafizur has been showing no signs of being distracted in his current job. He is fully focused on it. He is completely calm and not at all worried about off-field matters, be it the BCB, India, the BPL, or the ICC.

Ashraful said after the match between Rangpur Riders and Chittagong Royals that Rahman is completely focused on performing for Rangpur. He will focus on whatever task comes next. He is a person of a different caliber.

Assessing Mustafizur's performance in the BPL so far, Ashraful acknowledged a slow start. He said, "Mustafizur's performance in the first two matches was a bit below average, but especially the way we won the last match against Dhaka was a great victory. The way Mustafizur bowled the last two overs... I think he is a world champion in this format."
