Meta launches Oakley, a special smart glasses for athletes; Know the features

Meta has introduced the Oakley Meta HSTN, a new generation of performance AI smart glasses in partnership with Oakley. These glasses are specially designed with athletes and sports enthusiasts in mind. The combination of Oakley's stylish design and Meta's high-tech technology makes these glasses truly special.

• Great design: These glasses are inspired by Oakley's popular HSTN frame, featuring a bold and confident look.
• 3K Camera: Equipped with an ultra-clear 3K camera, these glasses allow users to capture their sports moments hands-free.
• Open-Ear Speakers: Built into the frame, the speakers let users enjoy music, podcasts, or calls without the need for earphones.
• Meta AI Integration: With built-in Meta AI, the glasses provide real-time assistance during sports activities, such as posting videos with voice commands or retrieving weather information on the golf course.
• Water Resistance: Boasting an IPX4 rating, these glasses can withstand sweat, light rain, and splashes.
• Battery Life: Enjoy up to 8 hours of battery life on a full charge, and a quick 20-minute charge provides 50% battery life. The included charging case offers additional power for up to 48 hours.

Pre-order booking for the limited edition Oakley Meta HSTN will start on July 11 and will be priced at $499 (approximately ₹43,200). Following this, another variant will launch in the summer season, starting at $399 (about ₹34,600). Initially, these glasses will be available in the US, Canada, the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Austria, Belgium, Ireland, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, and Australia. Their availability in India, Mexico, and the UAE is expected by the end of the year.
