Mercedes Maybach EQS will be launched in India on September 5; Special design, features and upgrades

Mercedes-Benz is going to bring its new EQS Maybach electric SUV to the Indian market. The company launched it in China last year. EQS Maybach is one of Mercedes' major electric SUVs at the global level. At the same time, it has been given Maybach-special design, features, and technical upgrades. It has a standard Mercedes-Benz sign on the hood and a great black panel in front, which looks like a grille. Its large pannum actually houses radar sensors for ADAS and technology bits. Its panel also has vertical chrome strips, which give it a 3D look. Its front bumper has extra chrome elements. On its side, the Maybach EQS SUV has more chrome bits on the window line and B-pillar and an extra Maybach logo on the D-pillar.

It offers either 21- or 22-inch alloy and forged wheels with Maybach lettering as wheel/tire options. It also has factory-fitted, anodized aluminum-finished illuminated running boards.

Now, the dashboard of the Maybach EQS SUV is not much different from other EQS SUVs, which have three separate screens accompanied by Maybach-specific graphics. Many special features include an animated display of the instrument cluster in Maybach mode. Display At the same time, two 11.6-inch displays have been given on its front seatback. You get a rear MBUX tablet that you can use even outside the car.

The Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV will come with two electric powertrain options. Its top-spec 680 SUV comes with a standard 4MATIC. It churns out 658hp of power while it produces peak torque of 950Nm. Its range stands at up to 600km. It does 0-100 in 4.4 seconds and the top speed is 210kph. While the EQS 580 4Matic SUV comes with a power output of 544hp, it has a range of up to 456km.

The Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV is scheduled to hit the Indian markets on 5 September 2024. Further details will be known at the time of its launch.
